I have gotten to know this family soon after my son started taekwondo in 2015 because they belong to the same school & the dad helps teach classes.  After watching Mom get her black belt at 7 months pregnant & walking this them in the 4th of July parade I was very excited when they asked me about newborn photography.  I meet with them the end of July to talk about any specific set ups they wanted to do & mom had her heart set on a turtle outfit because they raise them.  We also talked about incorporating taekwondo into images as well since the whole family does it & his youngest siblings were a little jealous that we made him a black belt but seeing as he helped his mom become a black belt I felt it fitting to make him one too.  When I came time for the session mom also brought a family heirloom hat that we used in a few photos too.
